Micro Aggression

I have had a couple encounters with micro aggressions in school, because I am Hispanic and I am loud people say that my friends and I are "rachet" and that we are intimidating and that they are scared of us and wont mess with us because they feel like we would "hit them" or "hurt them".

this book cover caught my eye because of the design, it has 3 different objects that are different shapes and it made me wonder what they have in common or what do each of the objects represent. Also another aspect that caught my eye was the color pink, on the donut and on top of the triangle because the colors of the square and triangle are dark and the pink makes it stand out.

This is a nice cover because i like the idea of a finger print and words making up the shape of a finger print. the choice of black and white make it bold and stand out more.

this is a cool book cover because  of how there is an imagine in the sun glasses reflecting  an naked tree and a  full  bearing tre.

this book cover looks interesting  to me because it looks like a mystery book and books like that intrest me. the colors used are very bland and the red makes it stand out.

It looks cool because the name tag on the body says stiff and i wonder why it says.

My favorite book

I feel like this cover does capture the  main idea of the book because the crown that is shown is a symbol of the gang that the book refers too (Latin Kings). Also the points of the crown are made up of different materials that represent the ideas of being in a gang such the spoon which represents the consumption of drugs like meth. Each point of the crown represents an object that connects to gang activities.

Mid winter break

Over Midwinter break i honestly did nothing, i just slept all day and text people, and thats all, i did not go out the whole break i stood in my house doing nothing while i saw most of my friends putting pictures up on snapchat and instagram and they went to warm places such as Brazil, Mexico, Belize, and Florida. I was a bit jealous because i was stuck home bored out of my mind and i wanted to go out, but i was also broke so there wasn't much places i could go.

Concept bored for The Great American Bake Sale

5) Is there anything in specific that you are thinking of that i should add to the logo?

Answers:

 The purpose of the club is to organize bake sales for an organization called No Kid hungry, which is an organization that ends child hunger. They organize and facilitate bake sales that are held in school to raise money so children can eat, thrive and learn, a percentage of the money that is raised goes to the organization. The club meets 2X a week to organize the bake sales and make posters for the bake sales. Not only do they organize the bake sales, the club members get together and bond and play fun games!! When I asked one of the members if they have anything in mind, that i should include or make part of the logo, they told me that the logo should have some shape of a cupcake which is then transformed into the earth. And that concludes my interview.
